Sam Mataora (born 20 October 1990), is a New Zealand rugby league player who currently plays for the Canberra Raiders in the NRL competition. He plays as a second-row or as a centre. He has also represented the Cook Islands.
Playing career
Mataora made his NRL debut against the New Zealand Warriors in June 2010.He was also a previous student at Cavendish road S.H.S in Holland Park, Brisbane QLD[1]
Representative career
Mataora has previously been a Cook Islands international, including at the 2006 Pacific Cup.[2][3]
In 2010 he was picked for the Junior Kiwis.[4]
